Happy Thanksgivings

We celebrated Thanksgiving at Gabby's school and with Gigi this year.  Her school Thanksgiving was a special lunch with turkey rolls, friendship fruit salad, cheese, and a cookie.  Gabby insisted that I take off of work to be there or she would be devastated.  It was a cute celebration.  The kids had their feast and then they got to go play games in the gym, which included face painting.

This year for Thanksgiving we drove to Lake Charles to have Thanksgiving dinner with Gigi, Grandma, Papa, Blakeleigh, Brandy, Great Aunt Lisa, Katie, Carly, Great Uncle Jay, Great Aunt Christine, and Great Uncle Keith.  It was a calm and quiet Thanksgiving.  Gabby really enjoyed playing with all of her cousins.  We arrived around 10:00 in the morning and left around 6:00 in the evening.  It was a short visit, but it was full of fun and laughter for the little ones.  Gabby had spent the last few days with her cousins so it was just a way to sneak in a little more time with them and Blakeleigh.
